NCES AND ELECTRIC

There are no prizes, and we will only run a podium if there is enough time.

NO REFUNDS

Unfortunately, due to the extensive amount of pre-planning required to host these events we are unable to refund entries. *Exception below*.

CANCELLATION

The Canadian Enduro Series reserves the right to cancel the event at any time.

INJURY REFUNDS

  • Refunds are given to riders if it is a season-ending injury.  They must submit a doctor's note stating that they are unable to ride a bike for the duration of the race season.  Doctor's notes must be submitted a minimum 10 days before the given event.

  • Transfers are excluded for Sun Peaks.

TRANSFERS

  • Transfers from one race to another are allowed - there is a $30.00 administration fee and notice must be given a minimum 10 days before any event.

  • Transfers between racers are allowed-the $30.00 admin fee applies. The new racer will have to register with a coupon code issued by our admin team and will be charged any fees. *Any transactions done without the coupon code will be voided.

  • No refund or credit will be given to the original purchaser. We will simply transfer the entry to another racer and any repayment must be settled between the two racers.

  • You must submit any transfers a minimum 10 days in advance of any event.

  • All transfer inquiries should be sent to admin@bcenduro.com

  • We cannot transfer or hold credit between seasons. Transfers only apply for the current season.

Riders MAY NOT give their entry to another racer and have them simply 'show-up' at the race and ride under their number - This will result in both riders being disqualified from the race. It simply creates too many issues with Series points and our registration process.

SELLING ENTRIES

You may NOT sell your entry (unless an event is sold-out) as this is essentially the same as an entry transfer.

In extenuating circumstances, with approval from the CNES admin team, riders may sell an entry and the $30.00 administration cost will be applied for the transfer.

REGISTRATION PRICE NOTES:

  • Prices exclude CCN bikes processing fees and GST. You will be charged this in addition to our prices.

WHAT IF I WANT TO ENTER ALL 3 RACES IN THE SERIES - HOW DO I REGISTER EASILY FOR THOSE?

Some of you are registering for each race individually. Then before you hit the 'checkout' button, go back to the homepage and click on the next REGISTER HERE link and follow the prompts.

WHAT CATEGORY DO I REGISTER IN?

NCES

TIMING

Times posted at the end of the race when the awards are given are final! We do not change or alter times after that period.  Forgot to hand in your timing tag? Too bad!

Results and race re-cap are posted the week after the event.

CUT-OFF TIMES

All courses close at the prescribed cut-off time in the Event Brief/Race Book

Timing tags are due at 30 minutes after the cut-off time - Tags handed in after are automatically disqualified.

COURSE MARKINGS

All the courses will be fully marked using tape, arrows, and signs.  During the timed stages, we will do our best to mark the course at a high level, with all intersections well marked, along with dangers and hazard areas.  BUT, please be aware that enduro racing is not DH racing where the course is potentially only 2mins long. Do not expect the enduro course to be marked at the level that DH races are, as some timed stages can be over 30mins long for each race.

Riders who blatantly go off the trail or cut corners will be disqualified.  In an effort to reduce trail erosion, please stick to the trail.  Braiding of trails is a serious infraction and cutting corners/cheat lines will not be tolerated!

EVENT CANCELLATIONS

Sometimes there are things outside of our control, like weather, politics, or government closures - we're pretty lucky to utilize large swaths of Crown land.  As such, if an event has to be canceled, participants will be given a 100% refund if it is 1 month before the event.  If it is within that time period, the race director may choose to issue a partial refund of only 50%.  If the event has to be canceled 72hrs before the event, no refund will be given, however, 20% will be given to the local trail club.

MANDATORY CATEGORY BUMPS

If you placed 1st in more than 3 races in 2019 in the following classes, YOU MUST MOVE TO PRO Men/Women for 2021:

  • 21-29 Men

  • 30-39 Men

  • 40+ Men

  • Open Women

  • In the event of a tie the rider with the best finishes takes precedence

  • Round 3 scores 25% extra bonus points

CAN I RIDE WITH FRIENDS?

Yes for sure! Some events will have staggered stages for different categories. For these races we ask that you stay to your designated category and meet up with your friends at the food station!

ARE THERE TIME LIMITS?

Yes. All riders, regardless of category, must be off the course by the time listed in the Race Book. Finishing after the time will result in a DNF.

DISPUTING A TIME

Sometimes things happen, a broken chain, a downed rider, etc.  We will review on a case-by-case situation.  If you think your time had an error, please see the event director.  The event director has the final say on all timing adjustments.
