TRIP SUMMARY: 

Gear up for an all out week in Revelstoke, BC! A backcountry mecca fully equipped to quench your wildest riding dreams. These 3-5 day trips feature a tailored mixture of helis, shuttles, pedaling power and post ride beers, all based around your groups skill levels and preferences. Based out of the acclaimed Valley Retreat Resort for top-notch off-the-bike comfort, these trips are open to those looking for a truly epic week out on the bike.

ACCOMMODATION:

Base camp for the week will be the beautiful Valley Retreat Mountain Lodge, a top of the line bed and breakfast ready for you to kick up your feet after a long day of riding. Sitting just a short pedal away from the base of Mt.Cartier, this haven for mountain bikers features 7 private rooms and ensuite bathrooms, super comfy beds, and endless panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. Alongside the PUMP TRACK found in the backyard, a hot tub and bike mechanic station will be accessible at all times. 

SAMPLE ITINERARY:

 

Day 1:

- Shake out the legs at the Macpherson Trail Network (500-1000m descent)

 

Day 2:

- Hit the Revelstoke Mountain Resort and ride one of the longest flow trails in the world, 5620, (1700m descent) before endless shuttle laps on Boulder Mountain (500-1000m descent)

 

Day 3:

- Shuttles Shuttles Shuttles!

 

Day 4:

- Rest day? More Shuttles? Another lap on a favourite trail? Our guides will have some surprises in store!


Day 5:

- Experience one final epic day out, the Mt. Cartier heli drop (2,000m descent)

Whether it's cornering, jumping, or tackling steep terrain, there's always an area of riding that we can improve. By providing a tailored approach that focuses on your unique needs and skills, we aim to provide a setting that builds your on-the-bike expertise as fast as possible.

WEEKLY TIMES: 

Mondays & Fridays: 9 am - 12 pm

Tuesdays & Thursdays: 8 am - 5pm

PRIVATE LESSONS:

Size: 1-4 People

Cost: $80/hour

  • Initial Lesson - 3 Hours Minimum

  • Secondary Lesson - 2 Hours Minimum

  • All Subsequent Lessons - 1.5 Hours

Size: 6-10+ People

  • 1.5 Hours Minimum

ABOUT:

Ted is famous for hanging manuals all over the globe and is known mainly as the owner and event director of the Canadian Enduro Series and founder of North America's first and only helicopter assisted mountain bike race.  A master of planning and logistics Ted's goal is to make everyone 'live like a local' by creating unique adventures that intertwine old-school classics, new-school flow, and all-day missions up and down ridgelines. Coffee, gin and pastries are the fuel of choice, so don't be surprised when he busts out a gourmet lunch atop a far-off peak.  Ted's intimate knowledge of British Columbia's riding hotspots has been curated from years of exploration, racing and adventure. A wilderness first-responder, level two Professional Mountain Bike Instructor and an EWS racer with top 50 results, you'll have a blast whether it's getting some lessons, chasing a strava segment or getting sendy.
