EVENT GRADING SYSTEM

Just like your local trail network, we use icons to grade our events, and provide riders with an understanding of an events difficulty.

DIFFICULTY

Blue events are ranked as an intermediate event, designed as fun for everyone.

Single Black Diamond events require a competent rider with a confident level of skill. The trails may use technically demanding features and jumps.

Double Black Diamond are designed for experts only. Trails used for these events are as tough as they get. A high level of skill s required for these trails and you can expect demanding features and jumps.

BARS

The bars signify the physical difficulty in climbing or distance.

1 BAR: Physically easy, possible shuttles or a chairlift. Less than 800 meters climbing and under 25km long

2 BARS: Between 800 and 1200m of climbing in the day and between 25 and 40km of distance.

3 BARS: Much harder, an event graded with 3 bars will be strong undertaking. Expect between 40 and 55km, and up to 1600 meters of climbing.

4 BARS:  The hardest events you'll find physically anywhere. You'll be climbing over 1600 meters and riding over 55km.
